I think I might have the beginnings of carpal tunnel, but it is only in my right hand. If I'm swinging a hammer for 8 hours straight or mixing concrete with a shovel for 8 hours straight by the time I'm ready for bed, my right hand has a sort of vague feeling. Not numb, but not like normal. I'm currently just making sure that I don't over do it with one hand, but rather hammer with both hands, which has a two fold effect. It helps my right hand feel normal, and it helps me learn to use my left hand for things I normally wouldn't use it for.
